Welcome to the Canton Cardinals Travel Baseball Program. We are a community-based travel baseball program within GCYBSA (Greater Canton Youth Baseball Softball Association).
2025 Canton Cardinals Travel Baseball & Canton Nitro Fastpitch Tryouts
GCYBSA will be hosting tryouts for our Canton Cardinals Baseball & Canton Nitro Softball travel teams. The season runs from mid-April through the end of July 2025. Teams will start indoor practices in the winter. These teams are separate from the GCYBSA fall rec league.

Heritage Park is in Canton on Heritage Drive. Heritage Drive is the light between Cherry Hill and Palmer where the Fire Station is. Please attend a half-hour earlier to sign in with the coach. Please click on the link at the bottom to fill out the pre-registration form.
Griffin Park is located on Sheldon Road at the light north of Cherry Hill.
Please note in the event of weather, please call the weather line at 734-394-5489 after 4 pm. The weather line will either announce if tryouts are on or if they are postponed to another date.
A payment of $250 is expected within 48 hours of commitment to the team. The Nitro team may take non-residents to fill in gaps.
All players trying out should pre-register to avoid a long line at tryout by fill either copying and pasting the below link into your internet browser or by clicking the tryout link below or clicking on Tryouts under our sponsor box on the home page.

There is no fee. Evaluations will be performed by each coach.
